Nic Salts, 50/50 Liquids and Shortfills

10ml nicotine salts are commonly used in low-powered refillable pod kits and mouth-to-lung coils. Larger shortfill bottles are normally sold without nicotine and can have either a pod-friendly 50/50 blend or a higher-VG blend for more powerful devices. Do not assume all shortfills use the same ratio; check the label and product page.

Matching Liquid to Your Device

Higher-resistance coils usually work best with thinner liquids such as suitable 50/50 blends. Lower-resistance coils may support higher-VG liquid, but the device and coil guidance should decide. If a liquid wicks too slowly, it can cause a burnt taste; if it is too thin for a high-powered setup, it may contribute to leaking.

Store bottles upright, tightly closed and away from heat, sunlight, children and pets. Use the best-before guidance on the bottle and stop using liquid that has an unusual smell, severe separation that does not mix after shaking, or damaged packaging.
